OutBack's advanced charge control algorithm and smart battery management techniques allow for battery life to exceed 10 years in most grid-tie backup applications. The PS1-2500 uses a sealed inverter and is rated at 2500W continuous power; the PS1-3000 uses a vented inverter and is rated at 3000W.
