The Cascade Drainback solar system is SunEarth's OG-300 certified drainback system. 10 year manufactures warrenty. A drainback system is protected from freezing damage without the use of antifreeze. The water in the collector array and solar loop piping drains back by gravity into the CopperStor storage reservoir when the pump stops circulating. Air replaces water in the collector array and solar loop piping to prevent freeze damage when the pump is turned off.
